Well it isn't even 9:00 yet, and I have already polished off a large piece of carrot cake. In fact... the last piece of carrot cake. And I feel pretty ashamed of myself.
So here is my challenge: for the rest of the month, I am going without added sugar.
I am expecting withdrawal and crankiness, but I think by the end of it, I will be happy I did. I am announcing it here because if I just told myself to do it, I would already have a candy in my mouth before lunch.
I am still going to allow myself natural sugars such as fruit, maybe some honey. Not sure if that will make it any easier, I have a habit of baking elaborate goods on weekends (yes I have had carrot cake all week)
